HomePrivate Label

Your name.
In every detail.

Private label, made clear.

Private label means garments made or finished to carry your brand. Plan the labels, tags and packaging alongside the clothing. Use our private-label tags and packaging guide to prepare specifications for your destination market.

Plan your private label

One identity.
Five places to define it.

Explore the details to include in your brief. Materials, finishes, attachment methods and availability are confirmed for your project.

Layout illustration / not a product sample Define the detail. Confirm the execution.

On the garment

The first signature.

Make the inside of the garment feel like part of your brand. Specify the visible label layout and where it belongs.

Include in your brief

  • Brand artwork and finished label dimensions
  • Position, fold and attachment preference
  • Size information, colors and reference images

To confirm: label material, construction, attachment and garment compatibility.

Before the first review

Bring the artwork.
Define the details.

A clear brief connects your brand identity to the actual garment. Prepare what you have and mark anything still undecided.

Brand & artwork files

Your logo and label layouts, preferably editable vector artwork such as AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. Add color references, dimensions and front/back views where relevant.

Garment & placement information

Garment category, style reference, colors and size breakdown. Include an annotated photo or tech pack showing where each label or tag should sit.

Label copy & market requirements

Supply your intended care text, composition, origin wording, size system and destination market. Identify any wording that still needs review before approval.

Packaging & SKU information

Outline folding, individual packing and carton preferences. For barcodes, include your barcode artwork or data plus the style, color and size mapping.

Align it before
it goes on the garment.

A suggested confirmation sequence for your project discussion. Agree the actual review stages and approval format with the team.

  1. 01

    Share your brief

Send the garment reference, artwork and the brand details you want to include.

  2. 02

    Confirm the scope

Review feasibility, quantities, costs and timing for each requested item.

  3. 03

    Review the details

Agree the artwork, dimensions, placement and sample or proof needed for approval.

  4. 04

    Record approval

Confirm the final version and size / SKU mapping before authorizing the agreed production work.

Keep garment and trim quantities separate.

Garment MOQ is 100 pieces per style, per color; sizes may be mixed. Ask for label and packaging quantities and charges to be confirmed separately in your quote.

What would you like to include?

A few practical questions

Before you begin.

Visit the full FAQ
Can I add branding to blank garments?

Yes. Yuchen supports fully custom garments, adjustments to existing patterns, and processing or labeling of blank garments. Share the garment and branding details so the appropriate route can be confirmed.

Are all label materials and finishes available?

Specific materials, finishes and attachment methods need project review. The illustrations on this page explain what to specify; they are not samples or a list of guaranteed production techniques.

What if my artwork is not final?

Share your current files and clearly identify the open decisions. Ask the team what additional artwork or development work is needed and whether it involves a separate charge.

Can I use the same barcode for every size?

Provide the SKU and barcode mapping you intend to use for each style, color and size. Confirm those details with your selling channel before approving the labels. Barcode supply and printing requirements are reviewed for your project.
