The design objective
Keep the character.
Define the construction.
The proposed brief: translate a streetwear concept into a clearly specified garment, with the silhouette, fabric handfeel and decoration considered together.
Yuchen’s confirmed focus includes T-shirts, hoodies and complex streetwear menswear. The actual product, client goals and approved specifications for this case still need to be added.

Proposed technical direction
Fit. Fabric. Finish.
Three connected decisions.
One specification to approve.
Start with proportion.
Document body volume, shoulder position, sleeve shape and garment length. An oversized description alone is not a measurable fit specification.
Specify how it should feel.
Compare material composition, weight, structure and handfeel against the intended shape. Evaluate the selected fabric with the planned finish before approval.
Make every process work together.
If the design combines print, embroidery, washing or distressing, agree on placement, construction and the process sequence. These are discussion options, not the confirmed treatments for this case.
Development challenges to document
The detail is
in the decisions.
Illustrative review points.
Actual issues and resolutions are pending.
Silhouette after washing
Compare the garment before and after the agreed wash. Review length, width and seam movement together.
Before / after measurementsNot supplied
Overlapping surface treatments
Test the intended decoration sequence on the selected material before approving the full garment.
Strike-offs & process notesNot supplied
Repeatable detail placement
Reference artwork and trim positions to measurable garment points across the agreed size range.
Placement sheet & size reviewNot supplied
Sample development record
Show what changed.
And why.
A proposed record structure.
No revision count or completion date is claimed.
Initial sample
Record the first interpretation of the approved brief and the issues found during review.
Awaiting photos & review notesRevision record
Connect each requested change to an updated measurement, material or construction detail.
Awaiting change logApproval reference
Identify the signed-off sample and the final specification used for the next agreed stage.
Awaiting approval recordWhat belongs in a sample revision record?
Sample reference and date; the issue observed; supporting photos; the requested change; the updated specification; reviewer and approval status. Add or remove revision entries to reflect the actual project.
Production context
Behind the development.
Supplied equipment photographs.
Context only — not evidence of this project.
Quality control
Agree the checks.
Keep the records.
Proposed project requirements. Inspection methods, tolerances and acceptance criteria must be agreed for the actual garment.
Dimensions & fit
Compare measurements with the approved specification. Record the size, measurement method, agreed tolerance and result.
Fabric & wash response
Confirm composition, weight and handfeel against the approved material. Record shrinkage or colour checks when required by the project.
Decoration & construction
Review artwork placement, seam consistency, trims and appearance against approved references. Document defects and corrective decisions.
Final approval & packing
Confirm the final garment reference, labels, size identification and packing requirements. Attach the actual inspection and approval records before publishing results.
No test results, certification or inspection standard is claimed for this case.
Project results
Results need evidence.
A verified outcome cannot be reported yet. These spaces are reserved for the actual project record.
Final garment
Approved front, back and detail photographs, linked to the final specification.
